SNL “Eco Tips” Launch on Casual Living Website

Bellevue, WA- Sealaska Natural Living (SNL), a Forest Stewardship Council certified outdoor furniture company, recently launched an educational campaign providing monthly “Eco Tips” to the readers of Casual Living Magazine. The program, which began in January of 2009, will be a regular feature run throughout the year. The tips will rotate bi-monthly between Casual Living’s print editions and the publication’s website www.casualliving.com.

The online tip for February can be found on the blog page for Casual Living’s The Sustainable Journey, a new blog exploring sustainability in the outdoor living industry and beyond.

Covering a variety of topics, SNL’s Eco Tips will provide helpful, achievable suggestions, with the goal of the guiding retailers, manufacturers and individuals towards incorporating more sustainable practices and policies into their companies and lifestyles.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to share our company’s knowledge and expertise in sustainable practices with Casual Living’s diverse reader base,” noted SNL Program Leader Nicole Tillotson. “The tips we provide may seem like small adjustments or actions. However, given the large number of Casual Living subscribers and followers, as well as the size and influence of the furniture industry as a whole, if even just a small percentage of these people begin to incorporate our tips it really has the potential to add up in a big way and a make a difference.”
An “Eco Tip” Archive will also be housed on SNL’s website www.sealaskanaturalliving.com.
